Rashi and Jon // Clay Center Wedding

I have been sooooo lucky to get the most amazing brides / grooms / wedding parties / venues / families / food / rings / details at all my weddings! Maybe its normal but I really don’t think so. For starters, Rashi is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and Jon is just perfectly handsome. On top of that, they are some of the sweetest and most caring people we have been honored to work with and their families were also just as great! I worked very closely with Ameeta, the brides mother, who made sure that her baby girl had a perfect weekend and it was just that……PERFECT!

Even though it started as a rainy day, followed by some more rain, and then ended rainy…..it still felt like the sun was shining brighter than ever! Rashi and Jon were surrounded with the most amazing wedding party of family and friends who were not going to let a little rain get in the way of a perfect day.

How beautiful are the bridesmaid dresses?! Mismatched dresses for the win!

And there is nothing like a classic blue suit to class up any group of men.

The day was full of happy tears, laughter, and lots and lots of dancing! One thing that was important to Rashi was that her guests have a good time, and I think its safe to say they did! If this reception was anything it was a celebration and a party for the newlyweds! This was so important to Rashi that she brought in one of her favorite bands from Atlanta to headline the evening. After cocktail hour on the main stage, guests made their way back into the grand lobby for dinner, toasts, and cake! The food was so amazing! The perfect mix of Indian and American. I did not go home hungry that’s for sure! The first song after the father of the bride / mother of the groom dances, the entire room headed to the dance floor ready to party! From that point on, everyone was dancing the night away. During a couple band breaks, the music switched to an Indian sound track, got all of Rashi’s Indian guests on the dance floor. It was a blast!

From start to finish, this wedding was so classy and beautiful, yet so fun and laid back. Here are a some of our favorites from the day!

P.S. – This was the traditional American wedding ceremony. They also held a beautiful traditional Indian ceremony the very next day. That blog is coming soon!
